The Matamoras Water Authority will be flushing their water hydrants beginning May 5, 2013. The flushing will be done between the hours of 10:00 pm to 10:00 am each day until completed.

POSITION OPEN
Open position for Matamoras Planning Commission Secretary.
Paid position ($1,180.00 per year), one meeting a month on the third Tuesday at 7:00 pm
To be appointed immediately
Applicant does not need to be a Borough resident.

The Matamoras Water Authority will be flushing their water hydrants beginning May 5, 2013. The flushing will be done between the hours of 10:00 pm to 10:00 am each day until completed.
Matamoras Borough Hall
Matamoras was originally part of Westfall Township. Its name came from the Mexican town of Matamoros, which was the first to be occupied by U.S. troops during the Mexican-American War. It was incorporated as a borough on January 18, 1905.
PUBLIC MEETINGS
Meetings are held at Borough Hall located at 10 Ave ICouncil Meetings are held the 1st Tuesday of each month at 7:30 p.m.
Planning Meetings are held the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m.
Recreation Meetings are held the 3rd Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m.
The Municipal Authority of the Borough of Matamoras meetings are held the 1st Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m except for January and July. The January and July meetings will be held on the 2nd Wednesday at 7:00pm.
Keystone Club meets the 3rd Wednesday at 7:00p.m.
