Announces
SPRING CLEANUP
2013
There will be containers available for dropping off items that are not normally
picked up during your regular solid waste pickup.
NO EARLY BIRDS
Saturday, May 4th from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Where: Matamoras Maintenance Dept. located at 6 th Street and Avenue Q
Bring proof of residency (driver’s license, tax bill, etc.)
There will be a nominal fee:
$10.00 per car, $20.00 per small truck and $40.00 per large dump truck.
Items that will NOT be accepted:
Liquid wastes including: Waste oil, Paint, Insecticide, Ink, Solvents
No Car Motors
Tanks-Welding or Cooking
Dead Animals
Ammunition
Contaminated soil
Hospital waste
Industrial waste of any kind
Tires
Building materials
The Borough of Matamoras reserves the right to reject any items brought to the
Spring Cleanup that may not be accepted by the Borough's hauler.
