2026 Meeting Schedule for Matamoras Borough

Matamoras Borough Council will hold its Reorganization Meeting on January 5, 2026 at 7:00 pm. There will be no meeting on January 13th. The regular monthly meetings will be held on the second Tuesday of every month at 7:00 PM.

The Matamoras Borough Council will hold three 2027 budget workshops on Wednesday(s) Oct 7th, Oct 14th, and Oct 28th, 2026, at 7:00 PM.  If an additional workshop is needed, it will be held on Nov 4th, 2026, at 7:00 PM.

The Matamoras Planning Commission will hold their regular meetings on the third Tuesday of every month at 7:00 PM.  Workshops (as needed) will be held on the second Wednesday of each month at 6:00 PM.

The Matamoras Recreation Advisory Board will hold their regular meetings on the first Tuesday of every month at 7:00 PM. Work sessions (as needed) will be held on the third Wednesday at 7:00 PM.

The General Government Committee will hold its meetings (as needed) on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 7:00 PM.

All meetings will be held at the Matamoras Borough Annex at 10 Ave I, Matamoras, PA.

  • Recreation Advisory Board: Perfect for those passionate about local parks and community events. This board advises on the development of recreational programs and the long-term use of our public park spaces.
  • Shade Tree Commission. Members to serve as the primary custodians of the community’s “green infrastructure,” ensuring that our public trees remain healthy, safe, and beautiful for generations to come.
